Great Aquarium outing! The children that attend class on a regular basis were taken on a wonderful outing to the Two Oceans Aquarium, Cape Town, South Africa on 29/06/09. The Waitrose Foundation sponsored the entrance fees of 40 children, food and juice for 60 children and the transport from Timberlea to the Aquarium for all the kids. Thanks Waitrose! The Aquarium itself sponsored 20 children! The children loved the Aquarium and they learned a great deal. Assignments have now been scheduled for all the learners that visited the Aquarium - these include learners from Gr. R - 12. |
