Play in the Packshed

René Crotz

The children were very exited about the play we put on in the Timberlea packshed on the 3rd of October 2009. The children decided to donate the money made from ticket sales to the Stellenbosch animal welfare.

There were three groups; the first group did a play about two young people falling in love, but the parents not being that supportive. They did a dance afterwards. The second group did a play called the Old Testament in a nutshell. The third groups about two mothers not getting along. This group also did a dance after their play.

The parents were very proud of their children.

Volunteering at the Stellenbosch Animal Welfare

Yandiswa Tshixo

Groups of three Timberlea children try to visit the shelter every second Saturday to volunteer. We love volunteering and socializing the puppies. The Timberlea children had a play on the 3rd of October 2009. All proceeds made by the play were donated to the Animal shelter. It is very important to take care of the animals, they are like people. If you mistreat animals they will become angry and aggressive. If you treat animals well, they will be friendly and loving.
